Dr. Stigmata Tenga has a longstanding career in civil society as a development facilitator and process consultant. She served on the APN board, a member of the Southern Africa Trust in South Africa as well as the Research in Poverty Alleviation a Think Tank in Tanzania. Dr. Tenga has experience in development concepts, theories and practices and has worked in the public, private and civil society sectors on strategic and development initiatives.
Joyce returns to the Africa Philanthropy Network to lead our partnerships and advocacy strategy after two years supporting senior level executive searches for international development organisations. More recently, she led her own recruitment company in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Joyce holds an LLB degree in Law from the University of Nairobi in Kenya and a postgraduate qualification in Business from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. She has 13 years experience working both in Kenya and South Africa within the fields of Law, Philanthropy, Health and HIV/AIDS, Access to Justice, Human and Gender Rights.
